Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A fire has wiped out a Rochester home.

The Rochester Fire Department says the fire was reported around 8:45 pm Friday at 3230 Marion Road SE in the Marion Woods mobile home park.

RFD says “The initial report stated that flames and smoke could be seen on the rear of the trailer. Crews found a large amount of fire in the rear of the trailer and heavy smoke throughout the mobile home."

RFD says “No victims or pets were found upon searching the residence and there were reports that nobody was home at the time of the fire. Crews remained on scene for an hour and a half performing overhaul and cleaning up equipment and hoses."

RFD says “The mobile home is considered a total loss including all the household items and belongings inside. Estimated value $50,000-$70,000.”
