Father’s Day Pancake Event in Cannon Falls Awesome Again
The Cannon Falls Lions Club conducted their 33rd annual Father's Day Pancake event Sunday with some rain showers lifting rather than dampening spirits.
The pancakes were delicious as always.
I asked a few people and saw many people interested in the Goodhue County Sheriff SWAT vehicle.
Little kids in particular enjoyed jumping around in the back.
I'm sure Jerry Groskreutz woould have enjpyed the classic tractors on display including a number of his favorite from the green and gold company.
Kids of all ages enjoy seeing fire trucks up close I believe.

My favorite was the 1948 Pontiac with the classic hood ornament.

Here is a jeep from WWII. My Dad worked in the motor pool in France during that war before being chosen to guard German prisoners brought to the United States because he spoke German.
