Faribault Marketing Director Nort Johnson stops by the KDHL Studio today for our monthly visit and we have a lot of topics to cover.

In the not too distant future they will be dedicating a second Tilt-a-Whirl car in downtown Faribault and we will talk to him about that.

The first Car Cruise of the season is this Friday with the University of Minnesota Solar Car coming to Faribault.

The Main Street Business Challenge is winding down and he tells me so far a half-dozen people of submitted their entries. They would love to see more.

Tourism is one of Nort's areas of expertise, so we will probably visit a bit about the fishing opener this past weekend.

I was told for example that Cannon Lake had the most people seen on the lake for the opener in many years.
