Faribault High School Plans To Hold Homecoming Parade Wednesday
It's homecoming week this week for students attending Faribault High School. In keeping with tradition, there WILL be a parade tomorrow afternoon, albeit a chilly parade.
Posted by Faribault High School on Tuesday, October 13, 2020
The parade starts at 2pm and will follow this route according to a social media post from Faribault High School:
The parade will start at the corner of 3rd St SW and 9th Ave SW and will head south. The parade will go west onto 9th St SW, right in front of Jefferson Elementary School. Finally, the route will head north on Prairie Ave SW back to the South Central College parking lot.
Faribault High School wants to remind anyone who chooses to watch the parade to take it in on the sidewalk. There are sidewalks on the west side of 9th Ave. SW, on the south side of 9th St. SW, and on the east side of Prairie Ave. SW.
Because of COVID, there won't be any handouts like candy this year on the parade route, and all "parade participants will remain masked and socially distanced at all times."
Yesterday, Homecoming royalty was selected and your 2020 Faribault High School Homecoming Royalty are Joey Erickson and Gabbie Yetzer.
