Relative humidity will drop into the 20s across the area this afternoon. Breezy south/southwesterly winds of 10 to 20 mph will occasionally gust near 25 mph. The combination of breezy winds, dry air, and dry conditions will promote the potential for rapid fire spread through 7 PM this evening.

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
