Duluth photographer Mike Mayou got the chance to capture some very rare photos of three bobcats in the Minnesota wild last Wednesday. He was able to capture the photos with a drone and the bobcats didn't seem to mind one bit. The photos he captured are amazing!

As Mike told WQOW (Eau Claire's ABC channel), "'It’s quite rare for humans to see bobcats in the wild, but the drone allowed me to interact with these animals in a unique way.'" I'd say he lucked out that the bobcats were so comfortable with the drone. He was able to capture some great photos and videos of these three wandering around together on the frozen St. Louis River.

I may be biased because I'm a cat mom but these are the cutest little guys! It's like they know they're on camera. There are some great pictures where it looks like they're posing for the drone.

Many people have asked him where on the St. Louis River he took these but he has not revealed the location to anyone. He has chosen not to reveal the location in order to protect the bobcats from a large number of people going out to try and find them.
