Drumming Up Donations for the Stix of Fury

If you've ever attended a local parade or large event, chances are you've witnessed the antics of the drumline Stix of Fury. This group of talented young drummers is made up of students from Blooming Prairie, although it appears they aren't dependent on the school district for funding. They are officially a nonprofit organization and your donations are tax deductible and used to help cover transportation costs to the many events they're a part of each year.

On Sunday, February 26, you can help this fun bunch of entertainers by attending their Pancake Breakfast Benefit and Silent Auction at the Pizza Cellar on Main Street in Blooming Prairie from 9AM to noon. They'll be serving up pancakes, sausage, eggs, ham and muffins along with milk, juice and coffee. The cost for this delicious breakfast is a donation. All proceeds for this event will go to the Stix of Fury transportation fund and help continue a great organization for our community and kids.
