COVID 19: Minnesota’s Positive Cases Top 50,000

St Paul (KROC AM News) - The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Minnesota has surpassed 50,000.
The Minnesota Department of Health Saturday reported 805 positive cases were confirmed on Friday, increasing the overall total to 50,291.
The number of tests has grown to nearly 941,000.
The new MDH report also shows 5 more COVID-19 deaths. The overall death total now stands at 1,571. The state’s daily death total has been in the single digits since July 2nd.
The number of COVID-19 hospital patients in intensive care was listed at 172 on Friday, the second-highest total of the month.
