Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban are among the first announced performers for the 2017 Grammy Awards. The news was revealed via a TV spot that aired during the NFL playoffs on Saturday night (Jan. 14).

Both Urban and Underwood are nominated at the 2017 Grammy Awards: He is up for Best Country Album (Ripcord), Best Country Song ("Blue Ain't Your Color") and Best Country Solo Performance (also "Blue Ain't Your Color), while she is up for Best Country Solo Performance ("Church Bells"). The two country stars spent much of December on tour together in Australia and New Zealand.

In addition to Underwood and Urban, the ad that aired on Saturday night also lists the Weeknd, Metallica and John Legend as performers for the 2017 Grammy Awards show. More performers will be added as the awards ceremony draws closer.
