The Carleton Knight Women's and Men's basketball teams both had 3 point halftime leads, but both lost tonight in Moorhead.  The men's loss deals a big blow to their playoff hopes.  The women did break the school single season 3 point baskets made in the first half.  Coming into the game they needed two to tie the record set last year of 149 threes and they had 7 in the game.  Jenny Ramey also became the eighth player in the history of Carleton women's basketball to go perfect from the free throw line with a minimum of 10 free throws, going 10 for 10.  After leading 36-33 at the half the Knights went the first 5 and a half minutes of the second half without scoring and succumbed to the third place Cobbers 84-60.  Carleton's men led 28-25 at the half and then saw Concordia score multiple layups en route to 61 percent shooting in the second half.  Carleton really needs to win their remaking three games against St Johns and Macalester at home and at Augsburg to make the postseason conference tournament.  Our next radio broadcast is Saturday at St. Benedict College in St. Joseph.  2:45pm we hit the airwaves.
