The Carleton Knights scored the second most points in their football program's history Saturday in a 84-20 win over Crown College of Minnesota.

The Knights domination started from the beginning of the game.  They scored 35 first quarter points.  Led 56-14 at the half.

In the end Carleton had 610 total yards on offense while running 95 plays in the game.  Crown amassed 201 yards while running 61 plays.

Those statistics were reported at conclusion of game but after the statisticians went over all the information official results can be seen here.

Knights quarterback Jonathan Singleton, Senior, San Martin, Cal. was 23 of 30 for 248 yards and two touchdowns.  Three different running backs scored the first three touchdowns for Carleton.  Senior kicker Trent Ramirez of Denver, Colorado was perfect on all 7 of his extra point attempts in the first half.

Aiden Chang, Junior, Palo Alto, Cal. led the ground game with 58 yards on 7 carries and two touchdowns.  Sergio Yap, So. Plymouth, N.H. was impressive with 44 yards on 6 carries and a third quarter score.  Nick Toole, Fr./Oakton, Va.  (#3 quarterback) ran for 35 yards on 5 carries and scored.  Servon Hinton, Jr./Ann Arbor, Mich. had 32 yards on 10 carries.

Backup quarterback Jack Curtis, Freshman, Charlotte, North Carolina hit 12 of 14 passes for 100 yards and 2 scores.

Garrett Siff, Sophomore, Takoma Park, Md. was targeted 14 times and made 13 catches for 98 yards and a score.

Three quarterbacks combined to complete 39 of 48 passes for 369 yards and Carleton had 241 yards on the ground with 47 carries.

Blake Neithart, Junior, Safety, Pasadena, Cal. led the Knights with 5 tackles.

Carleton was 9 of 9 scoring in the red zone, 5 of 5 on 4th down conversions, 6 of 14 on 3rd down conversions while holding the Polars to 4 of 14 on third down and no red zone chances.

The most points ever scored by a Carleton football team came even before Laird Stadium was built.

In 1914 the Carls defeated St. Cloud Normal 125-0.  The 64 point margin of victory was the widest since a 74-0 score over Concordia-Moorhead (74-0) in 1921.

Carleton had 7 rushing touchdowns, 5 passing touchdowns in the game.
