Can You Guess Minnesota’s Favorite Gameday Food?
From chips & dip to wings, and tacos to burgers on the grill, America loves the gameday food almost as much as the games themselves.
Do you fire up the grill regardless of the weather? Ten-below on a November Sunday afternoon? No problem. Light it up and throw on the brats.
It turns out that every state has its own ideas when it comes to which food is best to enjoy with the football game, with some states throwing up a few surprises and some states sticking to old favorites.
A new study by FlashPicks reveals NFL fans’ most popular game day foods across America, with the hamburger being the most popular in of the 14 states. More than fifty different foods were put to the test, with only nine scoring as a state favorite.
So What Is Minnesota's Favorite Gameday Food?
While I put my money on either chili or bratwurst, the study shows that pizza came out on top here in the Bold North. While I'm not surprised, I feel like it may be #1 because of convenience more than anything else. Punch it up on your phone, and someone knocks on your door. Easy peasy.
Minnesota's not alone. Pizza is also the top choice in Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, New York, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.
