Blooming Prairie football improved to 6-0 on the season with another dominating performance Friday night. The Awesome Blossoms beat Kenyon-Wanamingo 61-6 and are averaging nearly 50 points per game while holding opponents to about a touchdown per contest.

Owatonna football rallied with a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to beat Mankato West 24-20. The win is the Huskies 25th in a row, spanning three season. The victory was also the 179th for head coach Jeff Williams to tie Jerry Peterson for No. 1 on Owatonna's all-time victory list.
New Prague finally won a close one on Friday. Their 26-20 win over Rochester Century helped Owatonna secure the outright Big Southeast, Red Division title for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
