The Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights and Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals entertained a good crowd in Kenyon tonight to some fun volleyball.  The Cardinals prevailed in four sets after losing the opening set.

Kenyon-Wanamingo won the first set 25-22, thanks in part to the Cardinals committing 10 errors by my count.  Three ace serves also benefited the Knights.

Set two ended with the same score but Bethlehem Academy won and it was K-W with 11 errors in the set.

Bethlehem Academy senior Ellie Cohen was on fire in the third set with 9 kills and two ace serves in a 25-19 Cardinals win.

Cohen had 7 kills in the 4th set and was joined by junior Kate Trump with 5 kills and her ace serve in the fourth set was our Cashwise Food of Owatonna Delivery of the Match.  Cashwise Foods delivers seven days a week.

Cohen and setter Reagan Kangas were our Malecha's Auto Body of Faribault Crunch Time Faribault Players of the match.  Kangas was all over the court directing balls to various BA hitters.  She finished with 49 assists and 9 digs.

Cohen had 22 kills in the four set match and just two hitting errors all night.  The official statistics had her with 19 digs

Junior hitter Lindsay Hanson finished the night with 6 blocks on my stat sheet and 12 kills.  She also had 3 ace serves.

Junior Jaden Lang had 11 kills and a block.  Junior BA libero Mia Potter had 38 digs.

Junior Kate Trump finished with 18 kills, 32 digs.

Official statistics for Kenyon-Wanamingo showed senior Stella Rechtzigel led the team with 13 kills and added 4 ace serves and 4 ace blocks.
