Bethlehem Academy Boys Basketball Wins at Triton

The Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinals boys basketball team came home Tuesday with a 59 to 48 win over Triton. There was one glaring difference in the game.  The Cardinals were 13 of 18 from the free throw line while the Cobras didn't shoot a single free throw.  Both teams had 6 three point baskets and Triton hit one more field goal .

Griffin Malecha led Bethlehem Academy with 17 points including 5 three point baskets.  Jack Clark added 16 points and was 5 of 8 from the charity stripe.  Zach Van Thomme tallied 13 points on 5 for 5 shooting from the field and was 3 of 4 from the free throw line.  Damon Trump had 9 points and 7 assists in the game.  Van Thomme added 7 rebounds and Clark 5.

Cardinals Head Coach Melissa Hager was very pleased with the 8 total turnovers her team had in the game while Triton finished with 18 turnovers.  Coach Hager told us on the KFC Faribault Coaches Show last Saturday these guys could have a terrific season if they stay disciplined.
