It is expected that more holiday gifts and greetings will be sent through the mail this year. The Postal Service always encourages customers to send their holiday gifts and cards early. This year is no different.

The other side of that coin pertains to ordering gifts online. And the 'plan ahead' rule plays well here too. Order ahead to ensure your gifts will arrive in time for the holiday. That's even more true if you are ordering gifts online, then wrapping them to ship somewhere else.

Honestly though, why would you want to double-ship, and pay double the shipping cost. If you're ordering online, just have it gift wrapped and shipped right to your loved ones.

• DEC 19:  Express Saver
• DEC 20:  2 Day & 2 Day AM
• DEC 22:  Standard Overnight, Priority Overnight, and First Overnight
