This week we are turning our adoptable pet post towards those that enjoy dogs. Meet Jay Jay! Jay Jay is currently a pet that is in a foster home but is adoptable through Mending Spirits Animal Rescue in Mankato. As you can see from the pictures shared of the pup, Jay Jay seems to be a fun-loving animal, who according to my friend Michaela, is pretty well mannered and is crate trained.

According to Michaela who has been able to meet Jay Jay a few times as a volunteer, Jay Jay is "a playful, energetic, loving pup who just wants all the attention!" This dog "love[s] to play fetch, chew on his toys, splash around in a pool, and go to on walks."

Jay Jay can be around other dogs but "from time to time" he can become "territorial" and "not want to share." I can understand that, I don't always want to be around other people or share things, sometimes people just suck.

Michaela tells me that while Jay Jay is a great pup he would do best with a "dog savvy/confident" owner who can redirect Jay Jay when he struggles around other dogs.

Jay Jay is house trained pretty well, and will let his new owners know when he needs to go out by "pawing at the door or whining."

If you've got a fenced in yard, and some time on your hands to spend with this young dog, why not give him a chance a and home? Michaela told me that Jay Jay is "a great companion and tries to please everyone."

Jay Jay's adoption fee is $350. For those interested in more information about Jay Jay and or would like to adopt the 'lil' fella you can get more information on his adoption here.
