A couple of days ago, Lion Bridge Brewery in Cedar Rapids announced the release of a few new beers, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Those beers are getting quite a bit of attention from dessert-lovers!

According to Lion Bridge's Facebook page, the Raspberry Cheeseshake and Blueberry Cheeseshake Fruited Sours are officially available for purchase. Both beers are described as a "kettle-soured golden ale" with "a healthy dose of cheesecakey goodness and a graham cracker finish."

This isn't the first time Lion Bridge has released Cheeseshake beer! Back in the fall of 2020, the brewery released Blueberry, Raspberry, Pink Guava, and Blackberry Cheesecake Sours, as well as a Key Lime Pie Sour. The Blueberry and Raspberry ones must have been popular enough to bring back! Both of the flavors are available on tap at Lion Bridge, but you can also buy them by the can. Four-packs of them are available for $19.99. You can purchase them online HERE.

The other flavor that Lion Bridge Brewing Company released this week is Oakonut Delight, a "barrel-aged imperial stout with coconut and caramel added." If that's more your thing, they're available on tap at Lion Bridge, or in a four-pack for $18.99 HERE.

Other local breweries have some interesting beers in time for the holidays, too! Iowa Brewing Company in Cedar Rapids is gearing up to release Cousin Eddie's Breakfast Ale next week, Backpocket Brewing in Coralville is unveiling Mallow Vibes: Pineapple Marshmallow Kettle Sour next Wednesday, and Millstream Brewing Co. in Amana is now serving their Pumpkin With Benefits beer. Support a local brewery this holiday season!

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
