On his 71st birthday, Andy Steinfeldt celebrated by holding the worlds longest plank for his age group. He held his plank for 38 minutes straight! That's a long freaking time! Oh, and considering everything he's gone through in his life, this isn't even that crazy.

Lakeshore Weekly News says that Andy has beat prostate cancer, had to undergo surgery because doctors accidentally left a needle in him, his company crashed, his dad and many friends have died, and he survived a blood clot in his leg that required major surgery. Yeah, so a 38-minute plank is nothing!

WCCO says that the previous record was 36 minutes and 58 seconds. By the way, KARE 11 says that Andy is also training for two marathons right now.
