The Minnesota State Patrol reports that three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash yesterday morning on Highway 13 near County Road 140. All of those involved in the accident were from Montgomery.

Just before 8:00 am Tuesday morning the Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by 58-year-old Bonita Kay Bauer of Montgomery was traveling south on Highway 13 south of Montgomery when Bauer slowed her vehicle to turn east onto Country Road 140. Bauer's SUV was then struck in the rear passenger side by a 2009 Kia Rio that was also southbound.

The Rio was driven by 20-year-old Katelyn Margaret Grewe of Montgomery.  Both drivers and a passenger in the Rio, 44-year-old Amy Nicole Grewe, also of Montgomery, were transported to Queen of Peace in New Prague with non-life threatening injuries.

The State Patrol indicated the roads were dry at the time of the crash and that alcohol was not a contributing factor. Also responding to the crash was the Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office.
