The leaves are on the ground, the temperatures are (finally) dropping, and the Minnesota high school football section tournaments are in the books, which means its time for the 2024 Minnesota State High School League Football Tournament and it starts this week.

Section tournaments wrapped up this weekend, and State Tournament action starts in all classes this week, with trips to U.S. Bank Stadium for Prep Bowl 2024 the weekend before Thanksgiving on the line.

Each class has a pair of top seeds, distinguished by a north and south region. In Nine-Man, the top seeds are Leroy-Ostrander-Lyle-Pacelli and Mountain Iron-Buhl. In Class A, the top seeds are Minneota and Upsala/Swanville. On top of Class AA we find Chatfield and Kimball.

Jumping to the top seeds in this year's Class AAA tournament we find Stewartville and Fergus Falls. The tops seeds in Class AAAA are Becker and Totino-Grace. Taking a look at Class AAAAA we find Owatonna and Elk River on top, and in Class AAAAAA the top seeds are Lakeville North and Minnetonka.

Prep Bowl 2024 is set for Friday November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
