10 Things People Bought Last-Minute in Minnesota Before The Storm
Top 10 Items People in Minnesota Stock Up On When They Hear "Storm"
I'm pretty sure all of Minnesota lost it on Wednesday when it started to snow. That was the sign that this epic storm might actually live up to the predictions. Whether we liked it or not, it was time to hunker down. But first, we've got to get to the store and stock up on a few items.

What did you buy at the store before the storm hit Minnesota?
I made a few attempts to grab items from a store today but if I'm honest, it was basically a shopping fail today. I've got a boot on my foot so I was trying to find a place to do curbside pickup. Well, I waited a bit too long because there wasn't any curbside pickup available at all today when I looked. So, I thought I'd try delivery from HyVee. Nope - FRIDAY was the earliest for that. Yes, FRIDAY! I've even got the HyVee Plus and couldn't get anything earlier.
Silver Lake Foods was my hero today. I needed a place where I could park close to the door and not have to walk too far. This was the best choice and thankfully, they had everything I needed - eggs, bread, milk, half & half (I'm a coffee snob), cereal, yogurt, and cheese.
What Fun Name Would You Give The Epic Storm That Is Hitting Minnesota and Iowa?
I know that the National Weather Service named this storm "Olive", but I think we can come up with a better name. I know that there are a lot of creative geniuses in Minnesota and Iowa so let's get creative and come up with something new.
