Both drivers involved in the crash are from Plainview.

Earlier this year, Wabasha County Sheriff Rodney Bartsh announced that he will not seek re-election.

A post published on the law enforcement agency’s Facebook page Tuesday morning says he has been missing for over 24 hours.

He was arrested following an hour-long standoff in an area near Chester Woods Park east of Rochester.

On Friday the Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 69-year-old Stanley Alan Munstermann of Madison, MN for the death of 63-year-old Barbara McBride-Law.

The Madison, MN man was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder with intent, second-degree murder without intent-while committing a felony, and first-degree manslaughter.

“This was not an easy choice for us, but we felt it was time for my decision to be made public and allow an opportunity for this year's candidates to form their campaigns,” Bartsh wrote.

All three hunters were taken to a hospital.

The State Patrol says the crash was reported around 11:30 PM.

The deadly crash occurred shortly after 2:00 Saturday afternoon.
