The National Weather Service says some areas in southeastern Minnesota could see in excess of 3 inches of rain.

The request covers 42 counties.

Some places saw over 7 inches of rain in a matter of hours on Tuesday.

Mother Nature is a powerful lady!

Could it be described as flooding of Biblical proportions? I don't know if you can go that far, but check out this video from flooding in Yellowstone National Park, to Natural Bridge, flooding down the streets of Red Lodge, House Rock being nearly overtaken on the Gallatin River, and a riverfront home on the brink of being washed down the river in Gardiner, Montana.

Most of the elements of Pacific Junction's story are relatable to us, but their ability to press on to the extent Cedar Rapids has, remains in question.
