Faribault Softball

Randolph defeated Visitation and Cannon Falls during a triangular event at Randolph Saturday. The Rockets are now 16-1.

The Malecha's Auto Body Faribault, Crunch Time Faribault players of the game were Olivia Smith and Aly Cook. Smith was 2 for 4 at the plate with an RBI and run scored. Cook delivered an RBI and also held the Bombers in check over the last four innings.

Faribault has a home game with Northfield Monday at 5:00 p.m.

Randolph is 8-1 and goes to Goodhue Monday. Hayfield now 7-4 travels to Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Tuesday.

Faribault Falcons baseball dropped two games to Albert Lea. The Falcons softball team defeated Albert Lea 13-3 in six innings at North Alexander Park.

The Raiders improve to 5-2 while Faribault drops to 1-5.

The Falcons travel to Kasson-Mantorville Friday for a non-conference game against a section opponent. The game will be broadcast on KDHL 920 AM, 97.9 FM, Free KDHL app worldwide with coverage starting at 4:45 p.m.

Faribault Falcons lost a heartbreaker on Senior Day. Bethlehem Academy defeated Maple River on the road.

The running of the roses was last Saturday but there was a lot of running in this contest. The Tigers lived up to their name with 4 stolen bases and the Cardinals flew around the bases also with 7 steals. Anna Cohen had 3 and Huerta 2 swipes.
