The Faribault High School Theatre Troupe is set to perform one of my favorite musicals, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat." I know these young thespians have been working and rehearsing for quite a while in order to bring you the best performance of this classic Broadway play, which will be brought to life starting next Thursday, April 20, with an ASL performance at 7:30PM...

The Faribault Falcon girls basketball team didn't waste any time getting a jump on the Albert Lea Tigers on Friday night as the Falcons lead 30-10 at the half and finished of the Tigers 46-30. It got a little tight in the second half as at one point the Tigers had outscored the Falcons 15-5, but the shooting came back on for Faribault and they were able to wrap it up...

The Falcons know it's getting down to crunch time on the season. They came into "The Cage" in Red Wing on Tuesday night, still without the services of Kade Hart and TJ Hunt. Joe Jackson was going to get his first playing time in over a week...

The Faribault Falcon gilrs team went into Austin short-handed on Friday night. Rachel Hanson was out due to a concussion and Elana Palmer was out due to illness. So Madison Rendler and Megan Gehrke filled the spots in the lineup. The Falcons lead 27-21 at the half and in the second half at one point had built up a pretty good lead...

Saturday afternoon the at Northfield High School the Raiders and the Falcon girls and boys basketball teams met up. It's always a bit of an emotional event. Tensions began to run a bit high at moments in both games. But Northfield won both the battles 65-58 on the boys game and 60-24 on the girls game...

Saturday afternoon, it does not matter the records. it will be a big match up. The Faribault Falcons travel to Northfield to face the Raiders in a boys/girls doubleheader. The Falcon boys coming off a win over Mayo on Thursday square off against the Raiders, who defeated Kasson-Mantorville on Thursday...

It had the makings of a really good Big Nine conference game. Austin was 11-1. The Falcons 8-2. The game had been postponed once due to weather. Both teams really did not want to reschedule Tuesday night as they are already having at least three-game weeks...
