Illinois Man Wanted for 19 Years Arrested in Rockford

A man wanted on a warrant from 2005 out of Boone County was finally found and is now in custody.

According to a press release from the Winnebago County Sheriff, their office recently got information from the Marengo Police Department regarding a man wanted on a  Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault.

59-year-old LaIllinois Man Wanted for 19 Years Arrested in Rockfordrry Joseph has been on the run for nearly 19 years and was recently involved in a domestic dispute where he reportedly threatened to burn down the Machesney Park home his family is living in.

During a follow-up by the Winnebago County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday (6/19), deputies located Joseph in the 7000 block of Burden Road where he gave false identification to Sheriff's Deputies.

Larry Joseph was arrested on the 2005 warrant and taken to the Winnebago County Jail.
