One of the Wisconsin Dells' largest waterparks built a wild new waterslide. Many say it's too terrifying to ride, some say it's too dangerous to ride.

I don't know anyone who designs thrill rides, but I sure have wanted to say a few things to them after riding a few of their wild creations. Some of the words that I'd like to share would be too 'colorful' for most rooms. I can tell you right now that I will never be riding this crazy new attraction at Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park located at 655 N Frontage Rd, Wisconsin Dells, WI.

Once I saw the TikTok video you'll see below, I knew for a fact that I will never be able to give a firsthand account of what it's like to ride Medusa's Slidewheel.

Just like those who come up with the most twisted horror movie ideas, the creators of America's first rotating water slide, are very different than you and me.

America's First Rotating Water Slide

There's one in China and another in Poland. Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park spent $23 million on an expansion that includes a first-of-its-kind rotating water slide.

Here's a computer-generated look at how this thrill works.

Now, take a look at this TikTok video and tell me it looks (or sounds) like a good time.

You will NEVER see me on this ride. One comment hit the nail on the head:

"The darkness along with the screaming would’ve made me have a panic attack." I had a small one just watching that TikTok video. I like a good thrill but this one runs too close to being a nightmare and I'm not paying anyone to feel that way.

If this is the kind of joyride you love, you don't have to wait until summer to try it out, Medusa's Slidewheel is part of the indoor water and theme park.
