Popular Bargain Store in Rochester, MN Officially Closing
Say it isn’t so.
It’s always tough seeing the news of yet another local place shutting its doors, especially when it’s a spot you actually love going to.
Guys, I'm still trying to get over the loss of our Rochester At Home. AND Glynner's - ugh. It's been a rough month.
I’m all about a good deal, so anytime a discount store or secondhand shop pops up, I’m there. And this place? It wasn’t just another bargain bin, it was a goldmine.
One of those hidden gems that guaranteed a ridiculous deal every time you walked in. We’re talking brand-new Amazon returns at deep discounts. I’ve personally scored bedding, clothes, party decorations, so much stuff for my dogs, cell phone accessories... honestly, I’ve lost count. It was one of those places you couldn’t walk out of empty-handed.

Not familiar with MegaBinz? One look at the video below and you’ll see why it was a bargain lover’s dream.
Unfortunately, they shared on their Facebook page today that they are officially closing - effective immediately. Heartbreaking, I know. If you were a fellow MegaBinz hunter, you know just how much this one stings.
With MegaBinz gone, there’s definitely a bargain-hunter-sized hole in Rochester. Let’s hope something just as fun (and affordable) pops up soon. Until then... guess I’ll be scrolling Facebook Marketplace and thrifting away like it’s my full-time job.
