Popular Discount Store Opens a New Location in Minnesota

But what if they could give you even more? Well, that’s exactly what’s happening. This new concept might just change the way you shop at your favorite store for good.

This new store will offer all the things you love about Dollar General, BUT with a fresh twist - literally. The Dollar General Market will also offer a wide range of meats, fruits, and veggies.

And for those in Southeast Minnesota, the best part is it's right around the corner!

Where is the new Dollar General Market located?

Located on Minnesota Ave in Oronoco, the new store is hosting a grand opening bash on Saturday, October 19th starting at 8 a.m. The first 50 adults score a $10 gift card, and the first 100 lucky shoppers will snag a DG tote bag.

“We are excited to provide Oronoco residents with our new DG Market format. We strive to provide a pleasant shopping experience to customers and looking forward to being a strong business partner and good neighbor.”

According to the press release, Dollar General is going beyond just opening its doors - it’s also giving back. To celebrate the new store, the company is donating 100 brand-new books to a nearby elementary school, helping boost the library shelves for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade.
