Great food doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. There are plenty of restaurants and shops here in the North Star State and across the country that provide amazing food and prices that won't break your budget. 

And according to the results of a new national survey, one of the 10 best places to get some vittles at budget-friendly prices can be found right here, in Minnesota's capital city of Saint Paul.

Saint Paul Ice Cream Shop Earns National Recognition

That's the word from this new survey by CashNetUSA, which analyzed Yelp ratings in over 450 U.S. cities. It then calculated the precise five-star rating (to two decimal places, even!) for every restaurant listed as low price ('$'), which revealed the top 10 budget-friendly food joints in America.

And one standout-- and the only Minnesota restaurant to make the list-- is 2 Scoops Ice Cream Eatery in Saint Paul. Called the 'Cream of the Crop,' 2 Scoops Ice Cream Eatery is located on Selby Avenue at the corner of Milton Street. The survey said it spoke with 2 Scoops owner, Brian White, who said the shop’s success comes down in part to 'excellent customer service with a smile on our faces.'
