
21-Year-Old Hospitalized Following Crash on Plainview Highway
A minivan and pick-up truck, both traveling west on Hwy. 247, collided at the intersection
Plainview, MN (KROC-AM News)- A young man was brought to a hospital following a crash in Wabasha County Thursday.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash. Five people, including a small child, were occupying the vehicles.
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 4:45 p.m.

Unbuckled Passenger Injured in Crash Between Pick-up and Minivan on Hwy. 247 in Plainview
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy. 247 and 10th St. Northwest in Plainview.
A minivan and pick-up truck, both traveling west on Hwy. 247, collided at the intersection, the state crash report.
21-year-old Gladay Alize Castillo of Plainview was riding in the pick-up and was not wearing his seatbelt, the State Patrol says. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries.

18-year-old Christian Ricardo Rodriguez was identified as the pick-up driver. The Plainview man and a one-year-old also riding in the pick-up were not hurt, the State Patrol says.
The State Patrol identified the minivan driver as 70-year-old Denise Mary Jacobs of Plainview. Jacobs and her passenger, 71-year-old Mark Earl Jacobs of Plainview, were not hurt.
Everyone else was buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the state crash report.
Mayo Clinic Ambulance, the Plainview Police Department and Plainview Fire Department also responded to the crash.
