Winona, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities in Winona County say a man is in custody following a raid that led to a massive drug seizure.

A news release issued by the Winona County Sheriff’s Office on Friday says law enforcement also discovered a large sum of cash, multiple firearms and luxury watches.

Winona Raid Leads to Discover of Massive Amount of Drugs, Guns, Cash and More

During the operation, authorities arrested 38-year-old Justin John Dionysius

He’s charged with one count of first-degree drug possession, two counts of third-degree drug possession, one count of 5th-degree drug possession, prohibited person in possession of a firearm and a misdemeanor dangerous weapons count.

The news release says members of the Southeast Minnesota Violent Crimes Enforcement Team, Winona Police Department and the Winona County Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant shortly after 11 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 600 block of East 2nd St. in Winona

In all, law enforcement seized 6.68 pounds of methamphetamine, 75.5 grams of cocaine, 23 grams of amphetamine, 176 fentanyl pills, 9.5 grams of heroin, 47 dosage units of suboxone, 2.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms and 70 prescription pills. 

The raid also led to the discovery of 10 firearms, over 200 rounds of ammunition, $148,286 in cash, 2 oz of gold, collectable coins and Rolex watches, the news release says. 

Dionysius made his first appearance in Winona County Court Friday morning. His bail was set at $75,000 and he’s due back in court later this month.
