Suspicious Package Forces Evacuation of Minnesota Secretary of State’s Office
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- A suspicious package forced the evacuation of Minnesota’s Secretary of State’s Office.

So far limited information has been released. Officials reported the receiving of the package and subsequent evacuation Friday afternoon.
A news release issued by the Secretary of State’s Office, which oversees Minnesota’s elections, says an investigation is underway.
Federal & State Authorities Investigating Suspicious Package Sent to MN Secretary of State's Office
The only information released about the suspicious package sent to the St. Paul office so far says it had a return address that said “United States Traitor Elimination Army.”
The package is similar to ones sent to other Secretary of State Offices across the country, the news release says.
Secretary of State Steve Simon has released the following statement:
“Threatening election officials is unacceptable and cannot be tolerated. Our democracy depends on public servants who must be able to perform their duties free from fear, intimidation, or harassment. This action is not deterring our work or determination to deliver another election that is free, fair, accurate, and secure. We will work with our law enforcement partners to ensure the person or persons responsible for this action are held accountable.”
So far no other information has been released. The FBI, U.S. Postal Inspection Service and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
