
Southern Minnesota Man Killed in Weekend Motorcycle Crash
Wells, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in south-central Minnesota have released information concerning a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred over the weekend.
A news release issued today by the Faribault County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash just before midnight on Saturday. The incident occurred near the town of Wells.
The Sheriff's Office says 46-year-old Alan Richard Knutson of Wells was driving the motorcycle north on a rural road when he failed to navigate a curve. His motorcycle then went into the ditch and he was ejected.
Knutson, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The deadly crash remains under investigation by the Faribault County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
