Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- The Rochester Police Department responded to the report of a shooting in a Rochester neighborhood Tuesday night.

Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers responded to the report of gunshots around 7 p.m.
Police later conducted a traffic stop in the aftermath of the reported gunfire.

No Evidence Found at Scene of Reported Shooting in Rochester Neighborhood, Occupants of Vehicle Stopped by Officers Questioned Then Released
The gunshots report came from the area of Oxford Lane NW and Wembley Lane NW.
Grayson says responding officers did not find evidence that a shooting had taken place. No injuries were reported.
While investigating the reported gunfire, police identified a vehicle suspected of being involved in the reported incident.
Officers then pulled over the vehicle in the 3600 block of 41st St. NW. Grayson says the vehicle's occupants were detained, questioned then released.
No firearm was found during the traffic stop, the police report indicates. The incident is under investigation.
