
Rochester Police Make Drug Bust During Traffic Stop of Red Light Runner

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police made a drug bust following a recent traffic stop in Rochester.

The criminal complaint, filed in Olmsted County Court on Monday, says Rochester police stopped the vehicle for allegedly running a red light around 8:45 Friday morning.
The traffic stop occurred in the area of the 4th Ave. and 7th St. Northwest intersection.

Rochester Traffic Stop Leads to Fentanyl and Meth Discovery, Suspect Charged
Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer saw a passenger with an open alcoholic beverage, the charges say.
Officers ordered the occupants out of the vehicle for a search and found a bottle cap and spoon holding a powdery substance that tested positive for fentanyl in a purse belonging to one of the passengers.
The fentanyl weighed 2.9 grams, the complaint says.
Police identified as 31-year-old Chloe Elizabeth Billings of Rochester. She was arrested and transported to the Olmsted County Jail where law enforcement found additional fentanyl and methamphetamine in her groin area, the charges say.
The fentanyl found on Billings at the jail weighed 11.9 grams while the meth weighed 10.7 grams, the complaint says.
Billings is charged with felony second-degree drug possession, felony third-degree drug possession and gross misdemeanor introducing contraband into a jail.
She made her first court appearance on Monday and is due back in court later this month.
