Rochester, MN Motorcyclist Hospitalized After Striking Deer
Lake City, MN (KROC-AM News)- A collision with a deer sent a Rochester motorcyclist to the hospital Friday evening.
The State Patrol responded to the collision along Hwy. 63 just southwest of Lake City in Wabasha County. The deer-motorcycle crash was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The state crash report identifies the motorcyclist as 43-year-old Nathan Richard Corbin. He was taken to a hospital in Lake City after colliding with the deer in the northbound lane of the two-lane highway.
Corbin’s injuries are described as non-life-threatening. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the report says.
The Lake City Police Department, Lake City Fire Department, Lake City Ambulance, Red Wing Ambulance and Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the crash.
