Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minneapolis Police say a man was murdered early this morning while working on a vehicle in an alley.

The fatal shooting was reported around 4 AM. A news release says the officers dispatched to the north Minneapolis neighborhood found a man in his 40s with life-threatening wounds lying in an alley. The officers administered first aid until paramedics took over and transported the man to North Memorial Medical Center, where died from his injuries.

Minneapolis police say the preliminary investigation has determined the man was working on a vehicle when a second vehicle approached and an argument broke out between the deceased man and an occupant of the second vehicle. The argument apparently escalated and the man was shot.
