
Two Men Killed, Woman Critically Injured in Crash on I-90 in Winona County
Lewiston, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two people are dead and another is critically injured following a crash on Interstate 90 Friday afternoon.

Two vehicles were involved in the fatal wreck. The State Patrol responded to the deadly crash around 3:30 p.m. in Winona County.
A Toyota SUV and Buick SUV collided two miles east of the Lewiston exit.
Pine Island Man Among 2 Dead in I-90 Crash in Winona County, Woman Critically Injured
The Buick was heading west and Toyota was eastbound when the SUVs smashed into each other, the state crash report says.

83-year-old Hadley Edwin Thompson of Pine Island was identified as the Buick driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the State Patrol.
70-year-old Warren Russell Hacker of Appleton, WI was driving the Toyota. He was also pronounced dead at the scene, the state crash report says.
71-year-old Patricia Rose Hacker of Appleton was riding with Warren. She was rushed to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.
The state crash report does not say which vehicle entered the opposite lane. A grass median divides the interstate in the area of the deadly crash.
Everyone involved in the collision was wearing their seatbelt and no one was under the influence of alcohol, according to the state crash report.
The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Lewiston Fire Department, Lewiston Ambulance and Lewiston Police Department also responded to the fatal crash.
