
One Killed, One Severely Injured in Minnesota Head-on Crash
Anoka, MN (KROC-AM News)- A head-on crash in the Twin Cities claimed one motorist’s life and left another driver with severe injuries.

The fatality occurred shortly after 6:30 Monday evening.
A van and minivan were involved in the deadly crash, according to preliminary information released by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.

Woman Killed, Man Severely Injured in Head-on Crash in Anoka, MN
The fatal crash occurred in the 1000 block of North St. in Anoka. A westbound and eastbound sedan collided on the two-lane residential road, the sheriff’s office says.
Authorities describe the driver of the sedan as an adult woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures.
The driver of the minivan is described as an adult man. He was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, according to the news release.
The names of the man and woman involved in the fatal crash have not been released. Authorities did not say which vehicle entered the oncoming traffic lane.
The Anoka Police Department, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, and Anoka County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the deadly crash. No other information has been released.
