
Two Lives Lost in Rural Minnesota Head-on Crash
Britt, MN (KROC-AM News)- A head-on crash on a rural Minnesota two-lane road claimed two lives on Thursday.

Both of the vehicles involved were pick-up trucks. Emergency personnel responded to the head-on crash shortly after 8:40 Thursday morning.
The deadly crash happened in the 9100 block of Biss Rd., which is about 14 miles north of Virginia.
A news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office says the drivers were the only people involved.
76-Year-Old Man, 69-Year-Old Man Killed in Head-on Crash in Northern Minnesota's St. Louis County
An eastbound pick-up had drifted over to the southbound shoulder. The driver then overcorrected, crossed the centerline and collided with the westbound pick-up, the preliminary crash investigation indicates.

A 76-year-old man was driving the eastbound pick-up. The westbound driver is described as a 69-year-old man.
Both motorists were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names are being withheld pending family notification, the news release says.
The Minnesota State Patrol also responded to the scene of the fatality and is assisting the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office with the crash investigation.
