
Body Discovered at Abandoned Property in Southern MN City
Jordan, MN (KROC-AM News) - Authorities in a southern Minnesota city are investigating the discovery of human remains on an abandoned property.
A news release issued by the Jordan Police Department says officers assisting in the search for a 46-year-old woman discovered the remains while checking on a property that was known to the missing person. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office is currently working to confirm the identity of the remains and the cause of death.
Jordan police say the woman was reported missing Tuesday afternoon. The news release says, based on the preliminary investigation, investigators do not believe there is any immediate or heightened threat to the public in connection with the case.
