
Rochester Police Respond to Shooting Outside of Bamber Elementary Sunday Morning
Responding officers found multiple spent shell casings at the scene.
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Multiple shots were fired during an early morning gathering outside of a Rochester elementary school Sunday.

That’s according to Rochester Police Department Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson.
Officers received multiple reports regarding the gunfire. Police responded to the shots fired calls around 12:30 a.m.

Rochester Police Find Multiple Shell Casings at Scene of Early Sunday Morning Shooting Outside of Bamber Elementary
The shooting occurred outside of Bamber Elementary school, located at 2001 Bamber Valley Road SW.
A group of 20-30 people were gathered outside of the building when someone fired multiple gunshots, according to the police report. Responding officers found multiple spent shell casings at the scene.
No injuries were reported and Grayson says no one appeared to have been targeted by the gunfire.
The Rochester Police Department says the shooting is under investigation. As of Monday morning no arrests have been announced.
