Enjoy An Irish Fair in Minnesota – It Kicks off Today & Continues through Sunday
Who doesn't love an Irish celebration? Look how many people in Minnesota and all over the country celebrate St. Patrick's Day - whether you're Irish or not! It's just a fun holiday to celebrate. You can dress up in fun attire, grab some green beer or Jameson and dance an Irish jig! That last part might be after a lot of the above mentioned adult beverages.

This weekend is Minnesota's Irish Fair. It's usually just 3 days over a weekend from Friday through Sunday. This year, they are adding another day. And that day is TODAY!
CEOL ON THE RIVER
I'm just learning Irish too - and found out that Ceol is Gaelic for Music. So essentially it's "music on the river". There's a great lineup down at Harriet Island for this first day, too.
| The Coronas | 8.30 pm – 10.00 pm |
| Róisín O | 7.30 pm – 8.10 pm |
| The Belfast Cowboys | 6.15 pm – 7.15 pm |
FRIDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
Friday there are so many different things to check out and enjoy. Basically it's a matter of what you are interest in. And there are things for the whole family to enjoy. Friday there are several things, such as Green Fire Irish Dancers, plus a Shamrock School of Irish Step Dance if you'd like to learn how to do that leg flinging dance thing. You can also meet some Boxing Pros along with some sparring demos. If you are into more of the artsy part, youi can Meet AE: Irish Sage, writer and artist.
Saturday brings even more events as you have the whole day. There's a petting zoo, Lochtune, NorthStar Irish Dance, Meet and Greet with Baarry the Sheep, Learn how to Irish Dance, and so much more!
Sunday as things wrap up, you can go to the Catholic Mass, with Hannah Flowers Harp right before the service, Irish Diplomacy band, Rúpálaí, and so many more events that will last from 10am to 7:00 when the last band goes on stage.
Kind of a perfect weekend for all events. And many of the events happen on all 3 days of the weekend after the Music by the River night tonight. Enjoy the rest of summer as much as you can!
