End of an Era: 80s Legend Bids Farewell with Minnesota Show
If you're looking for a night of 80s nostalgia, spend a night with this iconic artist one last time before they quit touring forever.
She was the first female artist to achieve four top-five hits on the Billboard Hot 100 with a debut album, and it's not Madonna. The album was She's So Unusual, and it featured the hits 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun', 'Time After Time', 'She Bop', and 'All Through the Night', of course I'm talking about Cyndi Lauper.
When Does The Tour Start, and When is it in Minnesota?
The "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour" kicks off in Montreal on October 18th, bringing Cyndi Lauper to 23 North American cities, including a Minneapolis performance at the Target Center on Wednesday, December 4th, one night before the tour's final stop in Chicago.
Tickets for the show are available now through a variety of presales, with on sale to the general public starting at 10 AM on Friday, June 7th through Ticketmaster.
And if you want to dive deeper into Lauper's fascinating life and career, be sure to check out the new documentary on Paramount+, "Let the Canary Sing." It's an intimate look at the legend behind the music, and it's now available for streaming.
When Was Cyndi Lauper Last in Minnesota?
This Minnesota performance is a special one, as Lauper hasn't graced a Minnesota stage since 2018 and 2013 before that. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the music and legacy of a true icon one last time before this girl just has fun in retirement.
