The 2025 Minnesota State Fair Attendance Numbers Are In

I cannot believe the Minnesota State Fair has already come and gone! I promised myself this would be the year I finally went. I never seem to make it.

I was determined and failed, which is sad because there were so many new foods that I was dying to try. I already have my list for next year!

The big event wrapped up on Monday (September 1st) as always and now we have to wait another year for it. It'll be worth the wait and if you went this year, you've probably had your fill of foods on a stick for now.

Now, with the 2025 event in the rearview, organizers of the Minnesota State Fair have revealed the final attendance numbers. Was a record broken?

According to the Minnesota State Fair, nearly TWO-MILLION  people attended the fair over the course of the big event! That is a lot of people, a lot of fried foods and a lot of time well spent - don't you think?

Wow! As always, they shared the news with a fun video on social media on Tuesday afternoon. It was 1,940,869 people to be exact.

Were Any Attendance Records Broken At The Minnesota State Fair?

The good news? More people attended the 2025 State Fair than the 2024 State Fair! About 15,000 more people went this year than the year prior. We even blew the 2023 State Fair out of the water with these numbers.

We didn't quite hit the attendance record, though. That happened in 2019 when more than two-million people attended the fair. It's always good to have a little challenge and something took look forward to next year, no?
