
Minnesota Father, 2-Year-Old Girl Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Minneapolis police are investigating what they believe to be a murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a man and his young daughter early Monday morning.
According to a news release, officers were dispatched to a home around 12:20 a.m. Monday and discovered the bodies of a man and his two-year-old daughter, both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Police say the child’s mother was also in the home at the time but was not physically harmed.

“This is an unimaginable, heartbreaking tragedy,” said Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara. “Our hearts are with the child’s mother as she faces an overwhelming loss, and with the officers and investigators who responded to such a devastating scene.”
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner is working to determine the official causes and manner of death. Police have not released the names of the victims, but the man has been described as being in his 50s.
