Jerry’s Working At the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention

One of the first things you do when you are at a large convention is figure out where the Media Center is. Many times speakers and leaders will stop by the Media Center to talk with farm broadcasters and other reporters. In addition, typically there is an area set up for news conferences. Corey Ramsden was representing the Minnesota Farm Bureau in the Discussion Meet so I went to watch that round of competition before finding the Media Center.

Kristin Harner, who is the communications director for the Minnesota Farm Bureau, was also at the competition. After the competition she said "come with me and I will show you where the Media Center is." It was about noon and there was a table set up with a lunch for reporters. Kristin said go and get some lunch. I think she set me up because then she took this picture and said "even at the AFBF convention Jerry can find a free lunch!"
