This time of year can seem to drag on forever. Christmas and New Year's have past, and it's a long time until spring yet. But the River Bend Nature Center of Faribault is bringing fun to the area with the annual WinterFest celebration to be held on January 21 from 1-4PM.

River Bend Nature Center's annual WinterFest is fun for the whole family. Activities include horse-drawn sleigh/wagon ride, winter-themed games, live animals, crafts,  blizzard mini golf, and snowshoe clinics, and if you bring a sled you can go sledding. There will also be fresh-popped popcorn, s’mores to cook on the campfire and warm drinks.

A choral group from St. Olaf College, the Hill Harmonics, will be at Winterfest again this year to perform a cappella carols from 2-3PM. And don't miss the chance to see Christmas trees become dinner for the Goat Dispatch goats. The trees that once decorated homes make a tasty treat for the friendly goats.

The cost to attend WinterFest is $7 per person or $5 per River Bend member. The rate for families is $25 per family or $20 per River Bend member family. Learn more about WinterFest on River Bend’s website.
